So, because the people I work with are fizzing over with creative ideas and fashion insight, I thought it would be good to ask them what they consider the crowning element of their holiday party attire. Any accessory is fair game and we ran the gamut on price point just in case anyone tuning in wanted to do some last minute shopping. Here they are in their words…
Tracey Harrington McCoy (Social Networking Vixen):
Okay, here are some options at different price points… (seriously, can you tell how excited I am to talk about fashion?!?)
J.Crew Teenie Glitter Leather Belt (Available at Net-a-Porter)
Kenneth Jay Lane 22-Karat Gold-Plated Cocktail Ring (Available at Net-a-Porter)
And the Big Holiday Splurge… Christian Louboutin Lady Peep Glittered Pump (Available at Neiman Marcus)
Sarah Williams (Marketing Coordinator/Project Manager extraordinaire)
The perfect heel… I have actually been looking at these for weeks & think I need them to wear with a LBD!!
Rock & Republic’s Back Bow Double Platform Pump – (Available at Neiman Marcus)
And of course, the polish. (Available at Dior.com)
Matt Paulo (Art Director… visionary)
Wear these out on a date and order her a gin & tonic or a “scotch on my sofa.” You will close the deal! Rockport Shoes, Frasha Bike Toe Loafers (Available at Macys)
Greg Hallmark (Web designer, host, web guru)
How about a little Sarari Eau de Toilette Spray by our good friend Monsieur Lauren? (Available at Macys)
Laura Johnson (Sales/customer service/model☺)
A green stone Simply Mist ring… a wonderful accessory to a holiday party. Plus, I love green because it goes with everything. I think rings are wonderful, especially for parties, because 90% of the time you are holding some kind of beverage and I always look at a woman’s hands (nails and rings). It can be a beautiful statement!
Sharby Custer (Customer Service/Cheer coach of CMHJ)
You know I don’t go anywhere without my Hamilton scarf! I love the new metallic zebra print. (Available at Hamilton & Co)
I also picked up this sweet clutch from Southern Couture:
Jessica Toliuszis (Vice President/Road Warrior)
Shoes that sparkle for the holidays! Steve Madden Caryssag. A Rachel Zoe pick & perfect for a girl on the budget. (Available at SteveMadden.com)
Darlene Koch: (Customer Service/Supreme Organizer)
I’ve been coveting a Jeweled Foldover Clutch from Banana Republic… the jeweled foldover clutch in red. Sort of Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, pretty and sparkly. It would go really well with a LBD. (Available at BananaRepublic.com)
Sarah Hayden (Reese Publicity)
My Mom always told me a smile is the best accessory you can wear – even if you look like a piece of… she says, “just smile and nobody will notice.” It’s a great accessory if you’re broke. But if you’re not broke, click below – people will for sure notice you in these! (Available at Bergdorf Goodman)
Ann Marie Wakula (Reese Publicity)
I’m all about a piece that adds a little sex appeal to your outfit like sassy Leopard Legs Tights by Commando. (Available at ShopBop.com) You can pair them with any simple black dress and a fabulous pair of heels to spice up your outfit. Plus, it hits on two recent trends – animal print and pattern tights. Love them!
Chels
I am digging this jeweled head band by Juicy. It has a 1920’s, flapper feel and adds fabulous sparkle. (Available at Asos.com)
Pixie Market is not a site for the fashion faint of heart (lots of “man-repeller garments.”) But these can be worn by anyone. Spice up black shirts with these sequin metallic patches (Available at PixieMarket.com)
I’m in love with leather opera-length gloves. They add sophistication to any outfit and are especially nice with elbow length or three-quarter length coats and blazers. Check the deeply discounted pair on The Outnet. (Available at TheOutnet.com)
What is your crowning accessory this holiday season? We would love to hear suggestions. Happy holidays from the CMH team. And as always, keep counting!
